Tehee! I’ve got a layout of our future abode in my mind. As much as I wanted it to be as simple and functional to save a lot of space, I also want the furnitures to be made of wood such that as early as now, I wanted to get a wooden bed (because we need it badly) instead of the metal-frame beds or the spring bed. And if we need to get our own sofa set, I wanted it made of wood or wicker like that with my mother. Same with dining set, I wanted it to be made of wood or wicker. Read the rest of this entry »

This is what I am looking forward to….the festive mood of the season so I could take photos.
I intentionally bought candles and candle holders to be lighted during dinner. My sister Carol did the simple flower arrangement and the centerpiece so we had an elegant table setting for the Christmas eve dinner.

I am always fascinated with beautiful lighting fixtures in a room or anywhere else. Hence you will find lots of photos of lighting fixtures in my files. I find those beautiful lighting fixtures make each room so cozy which makes me think of my dream house…just a small house with beautiful yet functional lighting fixtures, kitchen organizers and lots of shelves, drawers and closets around the house. I don’t know, I just find American homes so functional so I want our future house to look like one. Read the rest of this entry »

I love Christmas ornaments so I keep on taking photos of it. I love the festive mood it creates and how it changes everyone’s mood upon seeing beautiful decors. When I first saw lanterns like this, I wanted to have one but I don’t know where to put it so I am just contented on taking photos of it. I think this could also be an improvised night lamp if I hang it in the ceiling. What do you think?

Happy WS! Visit Weekend Snapshot for more photos.

Canon Philippines sponsored COLORS of “A” SPECTRUM, an activity for the children with autism held in Eden Nature Park in Davao City with one of the country’s known people in Photography Mr. and Mrs. John Chua. It was a day of photo opportunity for the children together with some Fanatic Photographers Society members who volunteered to assist the children during the entire activity. It was supposed to be a very memorable activity but I missed it because I wasn’t able to sign up to join the FPS volunteers. Looking at the photos taken during the activity and the stories shared by the mentors, it was indeed a great moment that I failed to experience. I hope Canon will sponsor same event in the future and will surely make it a point that I can take part in the activity. Just wondering if children with cerebral palsy can possibly have the same activity as the children with autism.

Been eyeing for photo albums and photo frames for our tons of photos but the problem is….what will I place in the albums and frame? Haven’t printed the photos yet.LoL. So there’s really a reason why I can’t buy frames and albums this time. However, we’ve been to one of the stores that sells photography gears last night and no…we’re not going to buy another accessory for our gear but we’re there just to check what’s new. The digital frame caught my attention but it’s more costly than the one I saw in another store. So if we’d get a digital frame, no need to print the pictures.

We’re getting ready for Christmas and before we head to the mall for a last minute shopping, I’ll blog for moolah
. We’re not actually celebrating Christmas but it’s been a yearly tradition for gift giving since childhood aside from the gift giving in my mother’s side every new year. Mamang sees to it that we receive something during this time so we’ll not be envious to other kids in the neighborhood who’s enjoying the season. Read the rest of this entry »

This would make a perfect Christmas Fruit Carving. I was awed seeing upon seeing this. This watermelon fruit carving is made by a Hotel and Restaurant Management student of Joji Ilagan Bian Foundation College in Davao City. My sister Che2x was even more excited to try fruit carving and has been asking me to buy a carving knife for her.

Happy Tuesday!!!! Join us in Ruby Tuesday here.
