Dalampasigan

Dalampasigan

My most favorite place to relax or unwind…the beach. Going to the beach would not be enough if you cannot walk along the shore or just sit back and watch what’s going on around. I hope you would agree with me, the best place to emote is at the beach.

Anyway, the photo was taken last Saturday at Bago Beach Resort, Bago Aplaya, Davao City. In the background is part of the foot of Mt. Apo, the highest peak in the Philippines, covered with fluffy cumulus clouds.

One sunny day at Bago Beach Resort

I had a truly great weekend by spending it at the beach. It’s the first time that I was out of the house on a Saturday, for the whole day. Also, my first time to be in this particular resort and I love it cool and so relaxing. Will be back here to swim one day with hubby.

Here’s another photo…siblings walking by the beach. So cute!!!!

Dusk Streaks

Dusk Streaks

Nature works wonders. I really love this when I saw it. The streaks of different hues of blue and yellow from the horizon extending to the sky is stunning. This is Davao city in dusk.

Here’s another photo that I personally love.

Roses are Red

Roses are Red

Here’s another photo I took of the roses Ace gave for my birthday. Actually, it’s my choice….not his.LOL. I love roses so much that I usually tease him “when will I receive a bunch of roses?”. He will then reply “we’ll buy but you’ll be the one to choose because you might not want my choice”. Hahaha…not a surprise anymore. For the roses alone, it took me more than a couple of hours getting snaps of it. Really, this hobby is so addicting.

SWF: Tibungco Sunrise

SWF: Tibungco Sunrise

A very beautiful sunrise over San Juan, Tibungco during my late mother’s birthday. I learned something new with the camera so I was so excited for a sunrise shoot. Gladly my former officemate’s place is just beside the sea. I and Ace headed to their place last Sunday morning and we were amazed that we can view the sunrise without any obstruction though we are a little bit late because the sun is up from the horizon when we get there. We are looking forward for another shoot tomorrow. Sunrise and sunsets are so addicting!

More photos at my here. Happy Sky Watch everybody.

Sky Watch was Dots great idea

My first ever meme in my photoblog. I was just inspired to have a photoblog because of the appreciation I received about the photos I posted in my other blogs. Anyway, here’s my entry for this Friday. My first take of a beautiful, colorful sunrise.

Visit Tom’s blog for more entries of Sky Watch.

Golden Sunrise

Golden Sunrise

My favorite nature’s wonders…..sunrises and sunsets! Here’s the photo I took that most thought it was a sunset. I used the 400D’s automatic setting because I dunno how to use the creative mode then. Hence, it is not edited…all original…fresh from the camera. The only thing I did is resize it and insert the site’s name.

A new beginning

By acelyn On July 6th, 2008

This is the birth of our creativity being unleashed in us. After few years of down moments, having been through a lot of ups and downs, Ace and I finally said our vows and started a new chapter of our life. Together with that new beginning is the brighter life we are looking into. At the start it was never easy and yet we have been blessed and finally see the sun the brightly shines to our lives and to the lives of out loved ones. Truly, no matter how long the dark night is, the sun will still be up and we finally see the light.
