One of my favorite day of the week due to Sky Watch, Friday! Here’s my share for the week taken at the Agro-Industrial Foundation College grounds after the Davao River Parade Friday last week. Can’t think of the right word to describe the clouds except that it seems to be a giant cloud in the sky. Happy Sky Watch!

We missed the parade and only few of the floats were parked in SM when we got there. Here’s some of the photos courtesy of my partner, Ace.

Landscape photography is addicting. Isn’t it obvious? I think I already bored you for posting sunsets taken in the same spot. But as I have mentioned in my previous post, I would not get tired going back to my favorite sunset spot over and over again. Not now that I have discovered a trek going to a higher place. I am sure sunset over there is much more breathtaking. I hope I could go there next week to have another sunset shoot. Who wanted another sunset shoot from me? Raise your eyebrows.LOL. Just kidding. Happy Friday!

Kalachuchi (Plumera rubra) or Temple Flower/Frangipani in English. What we are used to are the white and pink ones used in leis, anklets and bracelets. However, with Plant Breeding and Genetics one can produce hybrids in different colors resulting to beautiful vibrant flowers. Here’s my entry for Ruby Tuesday…some of the Kalachuchi photos I took in the Agro-Trade Fair of Kadayawan Festival 2008.

What could I say? Nature is so wonderful and unpredictable. After weeks of overcast afternoons, yesterday (August 14) was one of the best. I peeked out of the window if thick clouds are covering the west and I am glad it was not so I grab the Canon 400D and off I went to my favorite sunset watching spot. Many times I have watched the sun going down but no two sunsets are the same even I am in the same place. I wouldn’t get tired of going in the same place over and over again to watch the sun go down. Happy Friday! More of Sky Watchers here. More of sunset photos in my flickr.

Photo taken at : Baywalk (David’s Edge), Ecoland, Davao City

My first time to watch sunset in the southern part of the city. This was taken last Sunday during our photo shoot. I should be looking out for subjects but when I saw the sun setting, and a golden-yellow colors of the sky, I left what I am doing and took this photo. I wonder how this would look if I am using a CPL. But I hope this one’s great.
Happy Sky Watch!

For our Basic Photography Workshop’s 4th session, we had a photo shoot at Baywalk (David’s Edge) last Sunday with the theme “THE ALPHABET”. I thought it’s so easy but I did find a hard time looking for letters in the structures or anything that’s in the place but I did enjoyed it. Though people may be wondering what we are doing, no matter what our position is as we take the best angle of our subject, we just don’t care. Here’s some of the photos I took for our assignment. The letter E received the BEST PICTURE award while letter Y is next in line.
