He works so hard. Usually from eight in the morning until nine or ten in the evening to the point of depriving himself with enough rest and time for himself. All I could do is take care of his needs for work like preparing his packed lunch, doing the laundry especially his uniforms and work clothes, and simple things that will save him time from doing it for himself.
At times he would look at his only pair of sneakers he’s been using everyday and wish he could have a pair of working boots that he’s been eyeing in the mall. Don’t worry honey, an angel will give you one. And if she’s more generous, she will get you a 5.11 Tactical Pants from Work Boots USA. I heard they provide good quality products that suits the working man’s lifestyle. So I would also go and check what’s in there that fits you.

Hubby had the chance to shoot in Dumaguete City. I guess the mountain range is part of Mt. Talinis (Cuernos de Negros or Horns of Negros), a potentially active volcano in Negros Oriental. When I first saw this photo, the clouds seems like a volcanic smoke to me. But hubby confirmed that they are clouds. Only the warm color of sunset made it look like a a smoke.

One weekend was spent in the beach….my favorite place to relax. This was taken at Canibad Beach, one of the undeveloped white sand (actually its pebbles) beaches in Island Garden City of Samal.

This is BIG LIGID. An island owned by a known family here in Davao City. It is one of the best dive sites in the area.
After hours of travel from Canibad, a beach where we had our lunch last Sunday, we finally saw BIG LIGID. Behind that island is a smaller one they call SMALL LIGID. Thanks to the wonderful weather that we have that day. See the very calm sea….as if we’re in a lake, and the beautiful blue sky with some fluffy clouds at the distance. Who would think that a typhoon hit the region 2 days before the travel and we’re under storm signal number 1 with such fine weather?
Happy Sky Watch everybody! Join the fun here.

My first time to join My World Tuesday! Almost an hour boat ride from Davao City is the Talicud Island. It is known for its pristine white sand beaches. Some beach fronts are not yet developed so it does not attract a lot of beach goers. But if you are like me who wanted a more private place, I am sure you would love it there. One of the famous and pioneering resorts in Talicud Island is the Isla Reta Beach Resort - owned by the Reta family of Davao City. It’s a nice place to relax and swim!

Another 15-minute boat ride from Isla Reta Beach Resort is another paradise, the Isla Reta II. The water is so clear, and so cool, with white sand and big waves. Only few are going to this place so it is heaven for me. It is not yet developed and I hope the owners will leave it as is because it is more beautiful than having structures all around for it will only destroy the real beauty of nature.

Thank you for taking a peek at my world here in Davao City, Philippines. Visit My World’s home to see other places around the world. Happy Tuesday!

I’ve been a sunrise and sunset watcher since my childhood years. Unluckily, we don’t have a camera to capture those beautiful moments. Now when we went home to Kabacan, Cotabato last week, I prayed for a beautiful sunrise and sunset. Though afternoons are always wet during our stay, last Sunday afternoon was a great one. While we were waiting for dinner at our cousin’s house to celebrate his son’s birthday in advance (yes, in advance because Biboy’s birthday is Nov. 3), I noticed the reddish clouds in the sky after the sun has gone down and asked my sister Carol to accompany me at the end of the block facing the ricefield so that there would be no obstructions in the photo but she said “no” thinking that it is not safe to go there. Thus, I’m contained at taking photos in the front yard of my cousin’s place. The moon is quite visible but too tiny in the photo that you wouldn’t notice it as a moon at first glance.

Hope you are enjoying Sky Watch! Visit here for more sky photos.
