Isla Reta I and II, Talicud Island
By acelyn On November 11th, 2008
My first time to join My World Tuesday! Almost an hour boat ride from Davao City is the Talicud Island. It is known for its pristine white sand beaches. Some beach fronts are not yet developed so it does not attract a lot of beach goers. But if you are like me who wanted a more private place, I am sure you would love it there. One of the famous and pioneering resorts in Talicud Island is the Isla Reta Beach Resort - owned by the Reta family of Davao City. It’s a nice place to relax and swim!

Another 15-minute boat ride from Isla Reta Beach Resort is another paradise, the Isla Reta II. The water is so clear, and so cool, with white sand and big waves. Only few are going to this place so it is heaven for me. It is not yet developed and I hope the owners will leave it as is because it is more beautiful than having structures all around for it will only destroy the real beauty of nature.

Thank you for taking a peek at my world here in Davao City, Philippines. Visit My World’s home to see other places around the world. Happy Tuesday!

Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing your world. I join you in hoping the second island escapes development
Welcome to My World. I can see that you live close to paradise. What a beautiful island. Thank you so much for sharing and thank you for joining My World. Have a wonderful week.
I love lonely beaches too. These look to be really inviting. Nice post.
Kerslyn: What a wonderful look at the beaches from this island you visited. thanks for sharing part of your world.
If there is ANYTHING better than a beach, it is an undeveloped, uncrowded beach. I LOVE your world!
