Ella’s vision

This is my niece, Ella, a brilliant 5-year-old kid smarter than other kids of her age or even older than her. She keeps on amusing people around with her brilliant ideas, with her logical thinking (sometimes she thinks smarter than adults..hehehe). Read the rest of this entry »

Our orange tabby we found in the street with barely nothing to eat a year ago. Now “he’s” a big, spoiled brat that we fondly call Kiaw-Kiaw. Read the rest of this entry »

Philippine Taoist Temple, Cebu City

Scenic Sundayss1-copy

The Philippine Taoist Temple in Lahug, Cebu City. It’s my first time to be in a temple and the intricate architectural designs amazed me. However, there are areas where taking photos isn’t allowed especially in the temple’s prayer area (I don’t actually get what’s the reason behind that). Read the rest of this entry »

Our footprints in White Island

Footprints

I was browsing through old photos that should be uploaded to shutterfly when I came to open the folder of our photos in Camiguin Island last year. Looking back, it was a one of the trips I enjoyed most and the first out of town trip (together with my friends) solely for a short adventure to a place we’ve never been before. Car lifts

By acelyn On February 18th, 2009

Without knowledge on cars or whatever vehicles when I was young made me wonder what’s the purpose of the concrete platform in auto repair shops I usually see in our little hometown. Later did I know that it’s a car lift (a concrete lift???) used when auto mechanics need to check or repair something under the car. So that would be a lot easier for them than crawling on their back under the vehicle. Read the rest of this entry »

Three chins (???)

By acelyn On February 17th, 2009

We didn’t have an extra special day last Valentine’s but we had fun taking photos of ourselves with the help of tripod and the remote controller. It was a big mistake to put the tripod near us where 90% of the viewfinder “should” be filled with our faces because with just a little adjustment in our pose, either me or Ace was already cropped from the photo. Anyway, we did get some decent shots and one of my fave is this…

Davao City’s sky

By acelyn On February 13th, 2009

This is another photo (intended) for Sky Watch taken at Paradise Island Park and Resort. But since they have issues over blogs with paid posts and removed my link from their homepage, then I also removed their link in this post. So now this is not an entry for that meme and forget about them.

The climax

By acelyn On February 13th, 2009

Finally, it’s confirmed! JR is David’s son to Marlyn through the paternity test (DNA test) that was conducted. Now that David knew that JR is his son, he is now making moves to make up for the lost time and provided what is due to his son. I think it’s already the climax of the story (unless there’s gonna be some twist). I’m sure many have waited for this scene. If you are Kapamilya (ABS-CBN fanatic), I’m sure you know what I am talking about. Well, I am talking about “Tayong Dalawa”, a star-studded teleserye aired in primetime slot in ABS-CBN. I like watching it so far and so amusing that Ace is watching it too. The story’s getting more beautiful as David’s wife already know that he got a son outside of marriage and it’s the person she hated most. Can’t wait to watch it tonight and for the days to come!*heh* Don’t dare miss it…or else you will lose half of your life.*LoL*

Gaisano Mall’s decorations and special effects on special occassions don’t really amuse me ever but this one did get me. Nice huh, seems like I’m in other planet (because it’s the first time I saw they did something nice).*LoL*

Roses and tealights

By acelyn On February 12th, 2009

Where would our Valentine’s day be spent? In one of New York City hotels. Just kidding. We don’t actually go on a date on Valentine’s day because everybody’s out and we don’t want to add chaos to the busy restaurants, fast foods, movie houses, bars, etc. Besides, Ace is not gifted with a romantic heart so the day would pass by like an ordinary day. I swear, we never had a date (just the two of us) and never got anything from him during Valentine’s day since then so I am not expecting one this time. As I have said, he is not romantic. That explains everything. The last time we were at the market, I was joking to him I will buy myself bunch of roses on V day so that my day would be complete. Seriously, I would buy flowers (if earnings will be sent before that day) and some tealights to decorate the house so I’ll have nice subjects to photograph.hahaha. I hope that makes sense.
