Life In A Snapshot

That’s my maternal grandmother a day after my grandfather’s burial. Signs of aging is really obvious with the wrinkled face. Gosh I can’t imagine myself looking like that years from now. Will I have the same number of wrinkles lines as Inang? Oh well, maybe I should get one of  the best wrinkle creams should wrinkle lines start to appear on my face. I heard it helps in delaying the signs of aging to occur in the face and other wrinkle-prone area.

Lately I’ve been reading a lot about weight loss supplements and many companies have been claiming that their product is the best weight loss supplement among others. That makes people searching for the best supplement a hard time deciding which to use. There are still reviews and customer feedbacks anyway so we could also get some important info from it before choosing which product to take for our effort in losing weight.

Ace told me once that he doesn’t want to see me in front of the PC when he gets home. But since I had fulltime job and have a handful of blogs to update, he has no choice but to accept the fact that I need more time online than ever. Hence, after eating dinner together and a short chit-chat, we do our thing…me in front of the PC and him in front of the TV. Sometimes though he spends time in front of the PC after dinner so I have no choice but to watch TV or do other things that are left unattended. This, made him say he needs something that could keep him busy so he wanted to get something to keep him busy or better yet, an XBox so he could play games. A sound plan? I guess so because he is so fixated with games so that would make him busy while I do my thing online.

We went to the nearby mall the other weekend and we are surprised to know that there’s a dog show….only, we are late because it’s already awarding time. Anyway, Ace spotted this cute doggie (sorry, I don’t know this dog’s breed) having her nap at the back stage and she’s soooo adorable. Before Ace took a photo, he asked “where’s the face” because he cannot see it due to the dog’s long coat.

I was watching The Doctors yesterday and their topic is about breast cancer. They were talking about breast cancer as inherited or due to lifestyle. That reminded me that I am prone to that big C because cancer runs in our blood. Hence, I must practice a healthy lifestyle this soon which means, I need to forget about those foods that won’t give me any health benefits. What a pain! What’s good is that prevention and detection is easier than Mesothelioma cancer – an asbestos-caused cancer because we really don’t know that we are already exposed to asbestos (unless we are informed that a certain establishment is using asbestos).

Our little Ella, Mamang’s darling has really grown up! This was taken last month when they visited us here and the first thing she said when they arrived, “tita, six na ako” (tita, I’m already six years old). Oh, how time flies so fast!

While resizing the photo of the cake I posted below, I was drooling so I got a bowl of Koko Krunch to munch on to satisfy my craving for that sweet thing but it doesn’t serve its purpose. I want to eat that cake badly! If that cake is mine, I would eat it as if there’s no tomorrow for it not only looks yummy but it is delicious that it can really ruin one’s diet! Oh, speaking of diet, I need to slow down because my pants are all tight that I cannot wear them anymore or else, I would end up with one of the diet pills in the market if I need to trim down fast so I could fit in my pants again because it is such a pain to say goodbye to my beloved pants that’s been of service for years to me. Anyway, gotta eat lunch so I would stop thinking about that cake that I wanted to eat.

We were at Ate Janet’s (our wedding godmother) birthday party the other night. As expected, we didn’t let this event pass without taking lots of photos and here’s one of them….Ate Janet’s elegant birthday cake! It’s simply beautiful that I forgot to ask her who made it.

Oh, I missed window shopping last weekend. I usually do it when we’re at the mall we’ve been frequenting. But since last Sunday was a bit busy, we just had merienda, bought a personal garment for Ace and hit the supermarket. Hence, I wasn’t able to visit the kitchenwares section, my ever fave bags section and some Shoe Store that I often visit to satisfy my eyes just by looking at the displays. I am not yet planning to get a new pair of shoes so I am satisfied to look at the displays. What I wanted to get is new pair of safety shoes for Ace since his company-issued safety shoes is too tight for him that resulted to deformities on his nails (the result of just trying the shoes of his colleagues and asking them what’s the size instead of demanding an actual sizer from their HR so he could get the best fit). Now I am eyeing for that steel toe Nautilus Safety Footwear that I saw on a shoe store online. I wish I could find one like that for Ace in the local stores here or we could scout the stores selling US goods for a durable steel toe safety footwear that Ace needs for work.

One of my personal fave photos with my nephew, Eman. He just loves smiling in front of the cam so when my sister aimed their camera to us, he just didn’t smile but giggle! Isn’t he soooo adorable with the beautiful Tita (ahemmmm) with him?
