Today’s Flowers: Stargazer

Aside from the color, what I love in this flower is its pleasant smell. I really love smelling Stargazers everytime I see one. Last Kadayawan’s Floral Float Parade, saw a basket of this flower and it took me sometime to leave this basket of flowers because I love sniffing it!*lol*

Drooling

By acelyn On September 22nd, 2009

I am looking for something and a friend mentioned I should look for it in Circuit City only to find out that is has closed. Well, I am just curius how much that gadget costs (though I don’t have plans of buying) hence I looked for it buy[dot]com. OMG! It was really tempting and I am drooling over it especially that it is free shipping! I wish I didn’t check on it, now it won’t make me go back to sleep.*sigh*

Handicapped-friendly

By acelyn On September 22nd, 2009

Haven’t seen an elderly, sick and physically handicapped-friendly bathroom, but with comfort rooms, I’ve seen a lot. For bathrooms, I never thought there could be a better way to make it user-friendly to the olds, sick and physically handicapped until I saw walk in tubs in superiorwalkintubs[dot]com. The walk-in tubs is great for those who cannot bathe in regular tubs hence it would then be convenient for them to bathe regularly. Thanks to those who have seen this issue and being too innovative in addressing this concern. It sure made life of the people who can’t bathe in regular tubs a lot more easier.

Eman and me

Eman and me, originally uploaded by Kerslyn Nierva.

Ace is exploring the camera settings and was too fascinated in using the monochrome setting. One time, Eman was in our room and he kept on taking photo of our niece nephew. The little boy seem to know how to face the camera this time (because he doesn’t smile when we aim our DSLR to him before and now he’s used to it).  This is one of my personal fave because I love Eman’s spontaneous expression here.

Wired, not wireless

By acelyn On September 22nd, 2009

I’m having trouble setting up myDSL to the router so I’ve got to connect SmartBro to the router and PLDT’s myDSL directly to the desktop and thanks to the wireless router that I can bring the laptop to our room and work from here. I’ve got no problem with it until the other day when I cannot connect to the router. Can’t fix the problem myself so I grabbed the SmartBro’s cable and directly plug it to the laptop in our room. Now we’re not having a wireless connection here, but wired. Will try to fix it again later this morning so there won’t be cable running across the living room to our bedroom.

Good genes

By acelyn On September 21st, 2009

I am one of those who are blessed with a pimple-free skin. Thanks to my genes! I rarely have problem with outbreaks especially during puberty when it is so prone at that stage of growing up. Now that I am being a nocturnal – I am prone to skin outbreaks and I am glad it didn’t happen so far for I cannot afford acne treatments that I think is expensive. However, I can’t say how should I react when I am in a situation where acne treatment is needed. I might as well roll out everything just to have flawless skin.

Dreams do come true…in FB!

By acelyn On September 21st, 2009

After playing almost every game that she could in FB, my niece found another one. It’s Fish World! I was intrigued so I tried it and the next thing I know is that I am feeding my fishes inside my tank!hahaha. We’ve been wanting to have a fish tank but I am afraid Kiaw-Kiaw would eat the fishes so we didn’t have one though we are so tempted to have one especially when we saw gorgeous Flower Horns at the pet shops. Thus, I am realizing that dream of owning a tank in FB. I am also planning to buy a big pond for my farm in Farm Town. I just wish we could grow fishes in that pond, and that pond pumps and other pond accessories will also be available at the store. Oh well, FB applications are making many dreams come true! Hope it will also be realized in real life.

Butterfly Orchid

butterfly orchid, originally uploaded by Kerslyn Nierva.

We used to have this kind of orchid hanging by our living room window when I was still a kid. Ours was only bearing flowers smaller than the on in the picture but they look totally the same! The plant grew too old that my late Mamang has to throw it because it isn’t bearing flowers anymore. Then last Kadayawan, I saw this orchid again and I was like “wish Mamang didn’t throw her orchids before”. We could have revived it and it maybe bearing flowers that big if it was only well-fertilized.

Crawling once again

By acelyn On September 21st, 2009

Internet speed is crawling again.*grrrr*. It’s so slow that all assignments I am submitting wasn’t verified. Usually, that’s the sign that internet is crawling like a turtle. OMG! It’s cut-off and I need to finish all pending tasks. I am done with a handful and there’s still pending but seems everything won’t be verified by the system due to the super slow speed. PLDT myDSL is even slower now. Bummer! Now I am stressed….hand me the best wrinkle cream please. This net connection will surely give me enough wrinkles in my forehead. Let me take a break first ‘coz I am losing my patience.

Motivation

By acelyn On September 21st, 2009

A friend lost weight without the aid of any fat burners or exercise equipments. She just limited her carbo intake and now she’s back to her sexy figure. How I wish that’s too easy in my case. I am not eating too much though. My weight gain is the result of my sedentary lifestyle. Hence, maybe I just need to exercise to trim down some flabs. Wooohooo! Need to be motivated to exercise. Maybe a trip to Bora or Palawan? :-)
