Red Hot Mondays #1

Red Hot Mondays

I am one excited and happy camper for hosting RED HOT MONDAYS! Thanks Mommy Ruby for this chance and to Mommy Willa for the badge!

When we decided to have the house repainted, I have a clear picture of what the main door and one of the dining wall would look like. I want it RED. Got the inspiration from TV Host Daphne Oseña-Paez’ lovely RED main door in her house though ours is not made of hardwood like hers. For the dining wall, got the inspiration from a fellow blogger – FAYE – for painting her dining room walls RED.

At first it was just the main door and one of the dining walls. But the foreman ordered the painters to include the bedroom doors, the wardrobe cabinet doors and the kitchen cabinet doors. It turned out nice. Hubby and my sister loved it too so I am relieved that I chose the right color.

When I started unpacking our things, I realized I have a collection of RED decorative pots that I bought last year from a US surplus store. I just kept it in a box since I bought it because we don’t have a display cabinet in the house we’re renting before we moved in our humble abode.

Does our main door look gorgeous? And those pots beautiful? I hope so!

If you have something RED in your photos, brag it here in RED HOT Mondays! Joining the meme is not at all complicated. Just grab the badge, link to this post and you’re good to go. When you’re done with your post, leave your link here and let’s paint the blogosphere RED!

Have a RED HOT Monday everyone!

Project 365: 55 of 365 (Foot Massage)

By Kerslyn On May 29th, 2011

After all those tiring trips, finally I was able to have a foot massage! Thanks to the blind people who offer their services. It was really a relaxing and therapeutic massage.

Others say massage is one of the ways to detoxify the body. I really don’t know how it could be possible but I noticed I always burp while I was having a massage. How I wish it could also eliminate all other toxins and not only those unwanted gases inside the body. After the massage, it feels great to take a rest – I mean sleep! Though for others massage is a way to de-stress the stressed muscles for a renewed energy to keep them going as if taking creatine supplements as energy booster, for me it’s the opposite. The best way to do after a relaxing massage is to hit the bed and sleep!
