Red Hot Mondays #5: A day at My Paradise Beach Resort

By Kerslyn On June 29th, 2011

It’s Wednesday and it’s only now that I get to post for my Monday meme. Forgive me for being too lazy the past days. I was so unproductive online and didn’t have the drive to do anything except for lurking for a few moment in facebook.

Feels like it is still weekend for me….maybe because I still have a hangover from last weekend’s beach getaway with the troop (hubby, my sister and her family).

We went to My Paradise Beach Resort in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur…

to have an OVERDAY…What? Overday?LOL. Well, we just had a day tour

We rented a close cottage for our “OVERDAY” stay so we could comfortably rest in the middle of the day. The beach is quiet and peaceful…just a perfect place to unwind! My Paradise Beach Resort in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur

The day wouldn’t be complete without a photo of me and Eman (my nephew) in his red and blue rashguard

and Totis (that’s what he call his Tito Ace) too!

That’s how our weekend ended…relaxing and fun! That’s why I still have a hangover and I wanna go back there very soon!

By the way, heartfelt thanks to all who participated last week. I hope to see your entries in this round of RED HOT MONDAYS!

Have a great week ahead!

Photography classes

By Kerslyn On June 25th, 2011

I wanted to take advanced photography classes but no budget for that yet. The topics could be found in the net, I know, but it is a lot different when you are learning hands on. It is easier for me to learn that way than just by reading. But of course, I have to read ahead so it will be easier for me to grasp what the teacher is teaching.

Many are conducting photography classes these days and I am receiving a lot of invites to join the class but I am choosy with which class I should take. It doesn’t need a teaching degree to be able to conduct a photography class but I am looking at the skill of the teacher as a photographer himself. I want those veteran in the field even without a teaching degree but takes superb photos without having to process the photos rather than those budding photo enthusiasts who flaunts with their overly processed photos.
