Life In A Snapshot

Traveling around the world is definitely one of my dreams. Boarding planes, enjoying the sights and sounds, tasting new food, taking photos, resting in white sand beaches… who would not ever desire these things? But of course not everyone could have the privilege of traveling. For sure, it would take me years of serious saving up before I could ever see this dream come true.

To set foot on Disney World in Orlando, I believe, would be magical. This is considered to be the best Disney in the west, and the biggest too. At my age I still dream of meeting Mickey Mouse and friends, marvel at the fireworks and those magical palaces. This is also one of the reasons why staying in one of those Disney World Hotels is also my ultimate desire!

The other week I got a call from my former colleague informing me that the plant manager wanted to hire us (me and Ace) to cover their company Christmas Party the following day. Such a short notice! But I have to say YES to it not because it’s additional moolah, but because it’s another chance to be with former colleagues – my first family in the corporate world.

Can you believe Ace was even more excited? An hour after I received a call, he started preparing our gears, cleaned the camera and the lenses, and charged the batteries. Such a melancholic! I it was me, I would wait for the last minute to prepare the gears.LOL. That’s how efficient Ace is.

BTW, our reliable Canon 400D is already old and is limiting our photography skills now. Wish we can upgrade so we could explore more. Crossing my fingers that we can afford an upgrade next year.
