Please bring home your trash!

Unique signage at Hayahay Beach Resort in Samal Island

One of the nice, uniquely made signage in Hayahay Beach Resort in Samal Island that is tucked in the tree branch with shoulder bolts. The resort owners would love that each of the resort visitor to be responsible with their trash hence we brought our own trash bag when we visited the resort and brought it back to the city. It’s a classic way of “leave nothing but memories”. There are other nice things about the resort and the best is its tranquil environment because walk-in visitors are not allowed and the resort owners blocks the date for one group of guests per day only. Feels like we own the resort for a day for more than a couple thousand pesos! What a great way to start our summer!

I am so behind in my uploading of photos to flickr® and so I am now making uploads like crazy from last month’s photos then I remembered I haven’t blogged about our Sunday getaway at the beach with PILs and Ace’ sister and her hubby.

We spent one Sunday morning at Paradise Island Park and Beach Resort, had our breakfast there and a quick dip at the cool water of the beach. Ace chose to stay in the shade because the melancholic doesn’t want to bother himself having a shower and changing clothes after swimming. So he kept himself busy with our camera and took this photo of a cargo vessel passing by. I wonder what’s inside those container vans. For sure some some are consumables, some are raw materials for something, and more! Probably there’s also boxes of cheap adipex in one of those container vans that will be delivered to the retail stores and health shops. And oh, next time my “balikbayan box” will be in one of those container vans.
