In my previous post I mentioned I have overcome insomnia with Camomile tea. Camomile tea really helped! It’s so amazing how it relaxes my body and put it to deep slumber that I feel so relax and well-rested even with just 4 hours of sleep. Isn’t that good for those who have sleep problems and are not into taking sleeping pills? So if you have sleeping problem and are not considering sleeping pills, try the tea. It might work for you.

It’s almost a week that I’ve been drinking my sleep inducer tea – the Camomile tea. I had problem dozing off immediately for weeks that I was so bothered. Imagine being off from work at 2AM and my body clock’s sleeping time is 4AM. So after asking Mr. I searched the internet for home remedy for insomnia and found out Camomile tea and Lavender oil are the best to promote relaxation and sleep. I don’t know if the lavender oil sold in the scented candle section of SM Homeworld is the one they are referring to so I chose Camomile tea to be safe. It’s a bit pricey for a tea but I don’t mind as long as it will put me to deep slumber after drinking it. I can’t believe it works! Not only that I was able to sleep but I feel more recharged than ever! No groggy mornings on my part. Even if I slept for just 4 hours, it feels like I slept longer! Yay for me! No more wishing that Ace will leave for work any minute so I can go back to sleep. In fact, as soon as Ace leaves for work, I go back to work too and go back to sleep at noon. The verdict is obvious. Camomile tea is effective. I wonder if teas for weight loss are also that effective. I wanna try one but I need to do more research about it and compare with other weight loss drinks out in the market. I hope to find one brand of tea that is effective and yet not pricey. Any idea?

I’ve tried detoxifying through fruit and veggie diet last year. But I am not sure if all toxins were excreted from my body. However, I felt some changes during the duration of the diet and days or weeks after it. I think that kind of detoxification would not work for me for long- say 2 weeks because I sometimes crave for rice and meat – which is a big no-no in the diet. Then I tried drinking tea for detoxification. But it didn’t work for me because I am too lazy to boil water for me to drink tea. I know there’s too many toxins in my body that I would need rapid detox like the procedure that is being done with drug dependents. I just hope rapid detox will also be available to those who wanted fast detoxification of their body. Let’s wait and see for future developments.

Feels like my body is finally giving up for not getting the right amount of sleep and rest lately. It’s been a while that I wasn’t sick and I think today is the start that my body giving up to exhaustion. I would still want to finish some tasks so I’ll try to do some and leave whatever I can’t finish tonight. Going to bed early is what I badly need now but as I am still waiting for the freezer to defrost so I could clean it and put the meat that we got from the grocery earlier, I’d better check www.goodsamfinancecenter.com. Then after I’d put away the meat in the freezer, it’s time to hit the bed.

There’s so many factors to consider but what causes hair loss is stress, at least for me. For others, it’s hereditary while for others it’s due to serious medical condition. Experts say the normal hairfall each day is 50 strands. So if it’s beyond fifty strands, is it something that should be taken cared of? Most probably. Hair fall is one of my problem (but nothing serious) when I was still having my day job. I am just glad I am not suffering from it now. Or I may be suffering from but doesn’t notice it because I just comb my hair twice a day.LOL. First after waking up and second after taking a bath. I am not stressed so it’s safe to say I am not suffering from hair loss.haha

Religiously taking vitamins is one thing that I should seriously learn to do. I tend to forget and take it for granted just because I don’t feel sick.LOL. So now I need to be seriously taking it everyday to supplement my body’s daily nutritional needs that I fail to complete through my food intake. I really hope I will learn to walk my talk here as this is something vital if I want to grow old healthy.

I am not overweight but I am already panting every time I take a long walk or take the stairs. So to trim down, I guess engaging in supervised routine exercise is needed to get rid of the flabs and increase my stamina instead of the weight loss programs that only requires strict diet. Is it time to go to the gym? I am so lazy to go out except on weekends so I can’t still convince myself to enroll in a gym. Oh my, when will I take this seriously?

Arthritis runs in Ace’ paternal side’s blood. One of his uncles died last year due to arthritis. I really don’t know arthritis can cause death…or is it the complications brought by arthritis? Whatever it is, I think Ace is also prone to such illness so he must be very watchful of his diet. There’s no symptoms of arthritis yet (maybe because he’s still young) but prevention is better that cure, right? So going over msm lotion’s site to know the different reviews about the arthritis supplements is helpful. Just to get ready in case arthritis was passed on to him.*knock on wood*

Lately I noticed fine lines around my eyes. Oh no! Sign of aging? I couldn’t blame anybody but myself because I haven’t been taking care of my skin too much since I stayed at home. I am so vain before when I was working. My face is “high-maintenance” as what my former officemates say because I’ve been using facial cleanser that is beyond their budget. Well, for me it is cheap because the cleanser lasts for 8 to 10 months which is cheaper than buying the cheapo facial wash or cleanser in the market. I think I need to go back to the product that I’ve been using before and check too if they have the best eye cream for wrinkles so I could get one. I don’t want those fine lines at the corner of my eyes.

These calming candles I saw under the gifts for her ideas of Ten Thousand Villages is one thing that I want! Anybody who is generous enough to buy it for me?LOL. It’s been a while since we lighted an aromatherapeutic candle in our bedroom before we sleep so this time I think we need one. With all the daily work pressures, it’s just appropriate to light a candle to calm down the body before going to sleep.
