For the second time this summer I and Ace were at Isla Reta Beach Resort with my high school classmates/friends. Overnight at the beach wouldn’t be complete without catching the sunrise but we were failed. Mr. Sun didn’t show up once again…just a subtle sunrise streaks – that’s all.
I want to be back there again (for the 3rd time this year) and shoot the sun rise. I hope Mr. Sun will show up by then.
Happy LatSoF everyone!

It has been more than a year since I got the chance to shoot sunrise so I was beyond excited when we planned to go to the beach for our weekend getaway. It was almost two years ago when we were in Isla Reta in Talicud Island and it is where I first got an awesome long exposure shot of the daybreak. Sadly, Mr. Sun didn’t show up again on our second visit (like before). The clouds just turned from fiery red to yellow-orange but Mr. Sun didn’t make an appearance in the sky. After those change of colors, the sky turned overcast and after an hour, Mr. Sun is up and shining. That was crazy!
Anyway, excuse the dust spots (our camera’s sensor badly needs cleaning so I can take long exposure shots again without those dust spots). I just need to post this photo as an entry for Looking at the Sky on Friday. Happy weekend everyone! It’s gonna be another long weekend for us here in the Philippines.
