Morning sky in Isla Reta

It has been more than a year since I got the chance to shoot sunrise so I was beyond excited when we planned to go to the beach for our weekend getaway. It was almost two years ago when we were in Isla Reta in Talicud Island and it is where I first got an awesome long exposure shot of the daybreak. Sadly, Mr. Sun didn’t show up again on our second visit (like before). The clouds just turned from fiery red to yellow-orange but Mr. Sun didn’t make an appearance in the sky. After those change of colors, the sky turned overcast and after an hour, Mr. Sun is up and shining. That was crazy!

Anyway, excuse the dust spots (our camera’s sensor badly needs cleaning so I can take long exposure shots again without those dust spots). I just need to post this photo as an entry for Looking at the Sky on Friday. Happy weekend everyone! It’s gonna be another long weekend for us here in the Philippines.

Sunset at Bonifacio Global City

During our trip to Manila late last year, one of the items in our itinerary is to go to baywalk and shoot the sunset. But there have been changes in our schedule that we weren’t able to shoot the sunset. A day before our scheduled trip to baywalk, I was so lucky to shoot this as the sun is slowly hiding in between two buildings in Bonifacio Global City while we are on our way to Megamall to meet my HS friends.
