Tokens for teachers
By Kerslyn On September 5th, 2011I heard it is Teacher’s Month beginning today until next month. What better way to thank our teachers who are putting all their efforts and resources to teach their students. I am a daughter of a former public school teacher and I have seen how my late mother put so much effort in preparing her lesson plan EVERY NIGHT and teach her students whole day while receiving a meager salary. I don’t remember a night when Mamang was free to help me with my assignments because as I do my homework, she is also writing her lesson plan for ALL the subjects that she is teaching in Grade Three. For thirty three years of teaching (before she died), she must have received a lot of tokens from her students – past and present for a job well done. Students and their parents should express a debt of gratitude to the teachers who are exerting so much time, effort and sometimes their personal money to teach their students. If I am a student now or a parent of a child in school, I would probably get this Teacher Acrylic Apple Clock from Personal Creations. I love what it says in it – 2 teach is 2 made a difference 4ever. Great one! Kudos to all teachers!
