Talk about convenience

By Kerslyn On October 15th, 2010

I really loathe processing of documents or anything that takes days to process or waiting in long lines. That’s why I haven’t updated my status in SSS and Pag-Ibig yet. Then here comes the passport processing.  I really wanted to have one so we could travel abroad in case there is an affordable promo fare but I don’t really have the will to process it myself. So I was thinking of getting the services of a friend who has a travel agency to get a passport for me. According to a friend, all I need is to personally appear at DFA for picture taking and that wouldn’t take an hour or more. Wohoo!!! Thanks goodness for such services. It reminds me of the services offered by Allsup.com in assisting clients claim their social security disability insurance. So nice to know there are companies who offers such services. It’s a big help for people who doesn’t want to endure waiting and wasting time processing documents or getting claims.

For the sake of art: Statue of David

By Kerslyn On August 12th, 2010

I was looking for a photo of something when I incidentally opened the folder where this photo of Statue of David I took the first time we visited Baywalk in Davao City.

Statue of David, Davao City

This statue was built from the personal pocket of one businessman in the city. I wonder how much it cost him to have the huge statue that earned so many public scrutiny and public opinion because of the naked David. For the sake of art, I look at that beauty. But if that’s a true human being, I would curse anybody posing like that to death!LOL. If the statue is made of real gold, how many gold bullions were used to get David’s statue done?
