Our photography gears–Canon 400D and Lumix LX5

By Kerslyn On December 27th, 2011

The other week I got a call from my former colleague informing me that the plant manager wanted to hire us (me and Ace) to cover their company Christmas Party the following day. Such a short notice! But I have to say YES to it not because it’s additional moolah, but because it’s another chance to be with former colleagues – my first family in the corporate world.

Can you believe Ace was even more excited? An hour after I received a call, he started preparing our gears, cleaned the camera and the lenses, and charged the batteries. Such a melancholic! I it was me, I would wait for the last minute to prepare the gears.LOL. That’s how efficient Ace is.

Our photography gears - more than 3yo Canon 400D and Lumix LX5

BTW, our reliable Canon 400D is already old and is limiting our photography skills now. Wish we can upgrade so we could explore more. Crossing my fingers that we can afford an upgrade next year.

Six million dollar home Crumpler

Our Tamrac Velocity 6x camera bag is too small for our photography gears during trips when we need to bring all our crappy lenses and the flash so we decided to get a bigger bag. I’ve heard a lot of good feedback and seen a lot of photo enthusiasts using Crumpler so I told Ace we must give it a try. Luckily, there’s one store in town selling Crumpler so we got our Crumpler Six Million Dollar Home for our EOS 400D and other gears. The bag is great! Surprisingly, it is very light even if all our gears are in it unlike our other bag. Ace loved it that he was too excited to use it during our trip to Zamboanga last week. Oh well, he waited for a month before he was able to strut his Crumpler.LOL.
