My youngest sister is a camera whore. This is the nth time that she dressed up and asked me to take photos of her. Take note, PHOTOS and demand that I upload it immediately so she can brag about it in facebook.

One afternoon she changed clothes and we had a photo shoot from the front area of the apartment  to our CR, to the utility area at the back then the living room where I took advantage of the setting sun’s rays.

Project 365

By acelyn On January 3rd, 2010

It’s more than a year since we got our DSLR. Though I made a photoblog, I didn’t urge myself to come up with a photography project. This year, I am planning to do project 365 to hone my skills in photography and to do something worthwhile with our DSLR and not just sit in the drawer and be taken out when we go out during weekends, when there’s something new that is worth taking photo of, or there’s an event. I just hope I could keep up with that project until the year ends. Oh, it’s still a long way to go because the year just started.

Now I am just thinking of a nice subject for today but before I head out of the door and look for something interesting, I’d be checking for bodybuilding supplements first. Nope, it’s not for me…just curious about it because I’ve seen one friend in FB who’s into body building and is also taking supplements.

Eman and me

By acelyn On September 22nd, 2009

Eman and me, originally uploaded by Kerslyn Nierva.

Ace is exploring the camera settings and was too fascinated in using the monochrome setting. One time, Eman was in our room and he kept on taking photo of our niece nephew. The little boy seem to know how to face the camera this time (because he doesn’t smile when we aim our DSLR to him before and now he’s used to it).  This is one of my personal fave because I love Eman’s spontaneous expression here.

Daddy’s angel

daddy's angel

Father’s Day is almost a month ago and it was the day I and Ace joined the the Canon Image Nation Photo Safari held a day before the opening of Canon dHUB (the Canon concept store) at 3rd level, Gaisano Mall of Davao. My entry for the category “Daddy’s Angel” and Ace’ entry for the category “Together Forever” made it to the top 10. Hence, that made us proud for a while.*lol*

This scene caught Ace’ attention while roaming around looking for some possible subjects for our entries during the Canon Image Nation Photo Safari held at Gaisano Mall. Aren’t they so cute? I personally love it but it isn’t the photo he submitted as his entry. Looking at the photo, I wish I could also capture that same candid shot of Ace and our future kid or kids. I loved it so much! Great shot B!

Our new baby

Edited: When Ace read this post, he asked why I only said a few words. What does he want? I will tell the story behind this flash and how we waited for days before we got hold of this? I was the photo speaks for itself. Hmmm…maybe he wanted me to say more than just “thank you hubby”.*lol*

A new addition to our photography hobby…a Canon Speedlite 430EX II.

Thanks to Hubby for making this a dream come true. I hope to hone more my skills in photography with this addition to our gears and accessories.
