2 of 365: Mario went to town

By acelyn On January 13th, 2010

Third of January. The first Sunday of the year. We attended church service and stayed after it for the fellowship meal and kids’ recognition and promotion for their Sunday school classes. We thought adults will only be at the backseat as audience but the teachers prepared games for everybody! I and Ace joined the couple’s game – that is Apple eating contest but we lost. Then Ace was forced to join MARIO WENT TO TOWN with MARIO JR.  in tow, and his team won!

Mario went to town

It was my first time to see Ace in such funny parlor game. Obviously, he did enjoy the experience.

While waiting for our scheduled trip to Siquijor Island to visit Ace’ grandpa and grandma, we went strolling inside Silliman University. For the 3rd time around, I was able to see Silliman University Library and the world’s biggest toblerone (according to Ace). He calls the Silliman Library post a toblerone.*lol* So this is one of the photos we took exactly one year ago.

Three chins (???)

We didn’t have an extra special day last Valentine’s but we had fun taking photos of ourselves with the help of tripod and the remote controller. It was a big mistake to put the tripod near us where 90% of the viewfinder “should” be filled with our faces because with just a little adjustment in our pose, either me or Ace was already cropped from the photo. Anyway, we did get some decent shots and one of my fave is this…
