R and R
By Kerslyn On March 18th, 2010Vacation to me doesn’t necessarily mean out-of-town trips or expensive international trips. It may be a beach getaway or just staying at one of the Toronto hotels errr…local hotels in the city because R&R doesn’t equate with your bank account. For even if you have lots of money in the bank if you doesn’t know the meaning of “rest and recreation”, it’s useless. Hence Ace and I are thinking of spending some time in a hotel for our R&R…just purely rest and recreation. Nothing more, nothing less. This is necessary to prevent burn out and a great way to have quality time away from work concerns.
Wouldn’t it be so nice to try out new experiences (such as this) without worrying about depleting your bank account? Even if we don’t have savings as long as we enjoy is what really matters with us. After all, we cannot turn back the time and experience this when we have kids already. That’s the advantage of not having kids this time, we have all the time for ourselves. For once kids enter the scene, it will be a different story.
