Can’t wait for summer! Summer means vacation, beach, outdoors! Did I say vacation and beach? Yes, can’t wait for our planned vacation to…nope, not in riviera maya (wish we could also try the white sand beaches of Riviera Maya). but just somewhere in Visayas. We hope to push that vacation (Lord willing) to give ourselves a break from the monotony of life at work. After the hard work, we deserve to just bum around at the white sand beaches of Bantayan Island and pig out on sumptuous seafood dishes of the island. Yay! We’re so excited!

This year, we are planning for something different on our wedding anniversary. We’ve spent our previous two anniversaries not doing much except for the usual dinner, whole day bonding (Ace took a leave from work), and the previous one was made even more special with our massage and sauna bath treat! This year, it must be different as Ace will be availing of a week-long vacation leave for our anniversary. Yay! So we’re going somewhere! Where? Still undecided. But for sure a trip to one of the best beaches will be included in the list. Obviously, we are lovers of white sand beaches so we’ll be exploring white sand beaches that we have never been before. A beach that is perfect for rest and relaxation and at the same time secluded for us to have our privacy. It must be perfect for destination weddings like the secluded white sand beaches of Riviera Maya so we can have a romantic anniversary photo of ourselves with the sunset or sunrise in the background. So, we’re going to save for that plan. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will push through!

It’s the start of the year! It’s high time to make plans…plans…and plans. I’m not making a new year’s resolution because I am not good at keeping it so what I’d do is to make attainable plans for this year (same as new year’s resolution.LOL). One thing in the list is a vacation. It has been agreed that we’re going on a vacation to a place we have never been every year. That’s feasible, right? As much as I want it to be every quarter, we have so many other priorities to consider so we’re gonna have it once a year instead. No concrete plan about the place to visit yet but if fairy godmother will grant us one of our wishes, one of the packages for aruba vacations would be great! Anyway, will just keep plans feasible so we could afford to make it happen. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Holidays is coming! I can smell rest and relaxation for those who have planned to have it.hahaha. Well, for us, we’re done with our sort of rest and relaxation. Actually, it’s not pure R&R because during the entire trip, we were so busy hopping from one place to another. But indeed, we have rested from our daily work routine and relaxed our minds from the stressful workloads. For the holidays, Ace will be working on some days and I, too have something to finish so maybe we cannot go for an out of town trip. An overnight stay at the beach at the nearby island perhaps. When we can afford (time-wise and money-wise) for a true rest and relaxation, one of the caribbean vacation deals would be perfect! Just wishing!

I’m not over with vacation thing yet as I have seen Outer Banks vacation homes while looking for a nice vacation home earlier. So nice to be spending a family vacation there! But since we don’t have kiddos yet, I am sure Ace would love to have Eman and Ella with us. The parents will be left here? Nope, they will surely come with us!hahaha. Ummm…that would be next to impossible but what is next to reality is Ace’ one more wish and that is to go back to Manila with my siblings, BIL and the kids (Eman and Ella). Hope we could get a “piso” fare from Cebu Pacific so we could all go.

We just came from a short vacation but Ace isn’t contented. He wanted a longer vacation. He must not avail of his vacation leave credits next year so we could go on longer vacation as we (with some HS classmates) are planning to go to Ilocos (keeping my fingers crossed!). Hope one preggy friend can travel so the plan will push through. The thought of vacation makes me wanna try myrtle beach vacation rentals in my dreams because we don’t have that here. We only have hotels and cottages in beach resorts here but nothing similar to vacation homes in Myrtle Beach.
