my eyeglasses and laptop computer courtesy of Ace! My laptop computer will turn 1 year old on September and so far, so good. I never had problem with it even though I’ve been forcing it to work long hours. It’s not that I don’t want to work with this laptop anymore but a desktop is more capable and reliable to keep up with my work demand. So this laptop will hopefully be used for sparingly should I get a desktop. That if I find means to get a high end desktop that Ace is suggesting.

It’s been a year since I got my mid-back executive chair from Makro. I’ve seated too often in that chair compared to any other chairs in the house. Now my chair that I’ve been using every single day is showing signs of wear and tear. I tried to save it by putting electric tape on the portion of the seat that is peeling off but it looks awful. Should I get a new executive chair? That is one essential office furniture for me since I’ve been working online most of the time. But before I’d get one, maybe I’ll find ways to save my chair. It’s still functional anyway. I am just bothered about the peeling off seat cover.

It took me more than a year to finally land a job that is related to my course. I’ve been so engrossed in the thought that I SHOULD be working as an HR thus I’ve been searching for a job day in day out. I have used so many means in finding the right job. Been a frequent visitor of PESO office in the city hall, job posting boards in a university, and an online job search that is so helpful not only for me but also to other applicants. So when people ask me to help them find a job, I refer them to to the local PESO office, the bulletin boards of the universities and the online job postings from different companies.
