New work buddy: a desktop

By Kerslyn On December 8th, 2010

I am so excited for my new desktop. Finally, after more than a year of planning to buy one, we were able to make up our minds. It’s an HP desktop with not too high specifications. Afterall, it’s for my online job and sideline gigs so no need for that specs and features that I don’t need. It will just make my desktop more expensive and I settled for a not-so-expensive one. Thanks to Glo for buying it for me during the Black Friday Sale! Next time, I’ll get an Asus netbook for Ace (or me) so it’ll be convenient working remotely.

Can’t wait for my box to reach its destination!

Filing: where Melancholics are good at

By Kerslyn On October 3rd, 2010

Ace was really tired when he got home one night. I recounted how he did the filing for a bunch of documents all by himself because nobody could stand that kind of task among his colleagues. Hmmm….melancholics are good at that! I think filing hard copies of documents is really necessary for future reference but it would be easier for them if they have a scanner software to scan and file their documents. So filing will be less taxing on the part of the employee. Besides, they can time from long hours of filing. Also, office space or cabinet space is saved by scanning documents and file it in a hard drive. Let’s see if their company could think about that.
