He’s turning 31

Nine days to go and it will be Ace’ birthday. For years, he was celebrating it with a family dinner in a buffet restaurant. This year I wanted him to experience a different special day…which means, no dinner at a buffet restaurant. I was planning to throw a small party for him so he could invite his officemates and friends. I’ve already allotted a certain portion of my earnings for that dinner but seems it can’t be materialized because we need funds for our moving expenses*pout*. The move is more important than the party?huh? I’d still find a way for Ace to experience a different way of celebrating his birthday after years of going back to the buffet restaurant. I tell you, for the countless times that I have eaten in that restaurant, I never experience being full. I simply can’t eat that much because I don’t find their food delicious. It all tastes so blant….including their desserts. What I eat there is the chicharon (if there’s any) and small portion of some chosen dish, for the sake of social eating. Anyway, if we could not afford a small party for Ace, I will to cook a few dishes for him but I have to check with him if he still wanted spaghetti or his new fave baked macaroni. He’s not eating baked macaroni that often before but when I tried doing the recipe on Christmas Eve, he found it more delicious than spaghetti. However, if more blessings will come our way, I love to have a really great party for Ace. Been searching for 31st birthday party ideas in celebrationsdotcom for  but what I found are 40th birthday ideas. It’s helpful, though…I’ll just omit some that’s not applicable for Ace or that could wait until Ace turns 40 nine years from now.
