Home essentials

By Kerslyn On January 20th, 2009

It would be an understatement to say we need only a few things for the house when in fact we almost need all the things that a house should contain (except of course for some kitchen stuffs and appliances that we already have). So here’s praying that more opportunities would come my way so we could have extra moolah for what we need in the house. Hubby’s paycheck is already budgetted for our daily needs and bills while mine was for Che2x’s tuition (glad that Carol was able to send last week), allowance and some other bills. Though PILs lend us the essential things that we need, we also need to get ours so we could really call it “our own”. We are slowly buying the small things (and light on the pocket) that we need so everytime I am in the mall, I spend so much time looking around in the kitchenware department, curtains, and some household items, furnitures and furnishings, hardware….in every place that you could find a thing for the house, there I am with Ace tagging along. The unit is neatly painted with cream and it is so tempting to put on some crown moldings in the ceiling and corbels that will hold counter tops and wall-mounted cabinets in place to make the apartment more beautiful. I’ve actually surfed the net for beautiful, stylish and elegant crown moldings and corbels and have found beautiful pieces in invitinghomedotcom. They offer a wide array of home decor products and even have a home decorating ideas section. It was the same corbels and crown molding that I usually see on TV especially in American homes. What I love with Inviting Home site are the beautiful items. They have almost all the furnishings and decorating needs that I could ever imagine. Some are even new to my eyes. For years, I’ve been asking myself where on earth can those beautiful corbels and wood moldings be bought when I never ever seen one in hardwares or any possible place that sell those things. Now I would bookmark the site for future use. Who knows, a couple of years from now we’ll have our own home that I can freely decorate. :-)
