Flatwares and dinnerwares has something to do with the appetite. I believe Psychologically it does. I wanted eating with heavier flatwares than those cheapo ones that could bend easily. I feel “more” full eating with it. With plates, I wanted eating in breakables than in cheapo plastics that rotates while you’re eating. Have you tried eating in plastic plates that rotates as you move your spoon and fork over it? Well, it annoys me. I didn’t know that Ace has some “elegant” sense about flatwares and dinnerwares or anything that we use in the house. So we did shop last Saturday after he received his prize in winning a consolation of PhP1,000 worth of gift certificate in Victoria Plaza during their raffle draw. The first plan was to get only flatwares. But we ended up getting 3 pcs of Noritake dinner plate with platinum lining and 3 pairs of flatwares that cost us more than what Ace received. Next time, we’ll buy additional plates and flatwares in case we have visitors coming over. :-) It’s really different when we started using our dinner plates and flatwares. I like eating more often now.*LoL*. But then I need to watch my diet or else, I will get bigger than I wanted and will end up with diet pills to get back in shape.

  1. I believe you’re quite right. I have specific plates, bowls, and flatware that I use when I eat certain things. For instance, I use a special (special to me) bowl and spoon whenever I eat cereal or soup.

    Nice photo!

  2. Wow, great post, I’ll Digg this, and share it to my friend, thx!
