Piti-Mini rose
By Kerslyn On March 15th, 2009
Yay! I can now try macro photography for Ace bought an extension tube (though it’s the generic one). The photo above is one of the many shots I took earlier today. It’s a Petty Mini rose which is barely 1 inch in diameter.
It was really hard doing macro photography using only extension tube because the lens has no contact with the body, so I have to manually focus. Since the DOF is too narrow, just a slight move could change the focus and indeed, it is quite frustrating at times. But when I’d be used to it, I hope I can do it easily. Only, I have issues in my position in taking macro photos. I find it uncomfortable that I have to kneel to the point of going too low on the ground which made my hands holding the camera not stable resulting to out of focus photos. Overall, the experience is really satisfying. Only, I don’t have too many subjects within my reach (such as insects and flowers) so I will have the same subjects over and over again.
Anyway, hafta go and look for weight loss pills online before I retire for the night.

ahhh…pagkanindut sa macro, ma’am! da best!
