Life In A Snapshot

Last month we faced another tragic moment in my maternal family’s side. My younger cousin was ambushed in broad daylight while traversing a national highway. It was such a painful loss for the wife and his young kid, for the parents, siblings, and everybody because he’s so young. Had he died older and caused by sickness such as Mesothelioma, it would have been easier to accept. But the death was sudden and the way he was killed was brutal, that I had a hard time accepting. Because of the nature of his job, his one foot is already on the grave. But losing his life not in the battle, armless, helpless, is the most painful thing to accept.
