One of my nephews recently celebrated his first birthday. His parents had a small party for him and there were many kids who attended the celebration. His mommy prepared goodies and loot bags filled with Party Candy, toys, some school stuff, bubbles and so much more. The kids had so much fun playing in the party games and winning toys and lollipops. Everyone was so happy and so were my cousins who prepared for the party. My nephew, even though he had no idea with what was happening around him had fun too. Well, I hope to attend his second birthday next year, pretty sure I will bring home many goodies and will enjoy too.

It’s the second round of RED HOT MONDAYS meme! Thanks to all who participated during the launching last week. I visited all entries and left a comment. I do hope I didn’t miss anything.
Last Thursday, my only niece celebrated her 8th birthday. How time flies so fast! Seems like it’s only yesterday when she turned 1 and now she’s 8! They spent the night here at home on Wednesday bringing along her cake and balloons with them. Before the clock striked 12 midnight, she got dressed and posed for me and her mom with our RED dining chair and RED wall in the background.

then for me…

Her only wish is to have a BARBIE themed birthday cake so my sister ordered one from a bakeshop in their place.

Good thing it was still in good shape after travelling for four hours from our place to the resort where my niece celebrated her 8th birthday. She had a blast and according to her, it was one of the best.
Have a fab RED HOT MONDAY to all!

It’s Mamang’s 5th death anniversary tomorrow. We went home (to our hometown) to visit her grave. It was also just a quick visit to see our relatives especially our old grandma. Carol bought flowers at the market, arranged it and placed it Mamang’s tombstone.

Eman seems amazed at the flowers that he is trying to pick one by one (caught in the act!). While sitting beside Mamang’s grave, I was reminiscing what were those that we put inside the tomb as “pabaon”. I remember Carol prepared her a new bag with a pressed powder and comb inside, a pair of clothes, her new shoes (that we bought in Ali Mall before we brought her home), an umbrella, and a couple of Coca-Cola in can!
Whew! I am getting emotional…I should divert my attention to looking for a bass fishing gear for Daddy. It will make him really happy because he loves fishing!
