Life In A Snapshot

I always love to visit the appliance section of the mall. I like to look at the newest and latest flat screens and home theater systems. Even though we have one at home, I still like to watch out for the latest versions and freebies that go with it when buying one. Just recently, tv stands for flat screens have been given as a freebie when you buy a flat screen TV. When we bought our TV years ago, we had to find a TV stand since it had no free stuff to go with. Good thing we found a good TV stand with compartments to place our DVDs and other stuff. Even if I did not get any free TV stand, I am still thankful that I am able to buy a flat screen TV.

Our cupboards are too high for me. Oh, I’m less than 5 feet tall so it is really hard for me to reach the cupboards. If I needed something, I have to pull a chair to step on. Poor liliput! To make my life easier, I pulled the frequently used kitchen stuffs and stashed it in the lower portion of pantry cabinet. It is more convenient for me…a lot more convenient. Same with our wardrobe cabinets that extend to the ceiling. It is too high for me to reach. I know those two step stools I saw online could make my life convenient in reaching for high areas in the house. Hope to find one that is not that expensive so I won’t have to drag the heavy dining chair to the bedrooms or the kitchen.

Here’s one of the few photos I took last month when we just moved in. Landscaping and painting is on-going that time and I was planning to take photos when its done. But then, the procastinator me didn’t bother to take photos of the house after the painting and landscaping works are done.

This house is far from my dream house. But I couldn’t ask for more now because I started to love it and the peaceful neighborhood. Feels like we are back in my hometown!

If someday we will be given the chance to own another home, I would consider looking at the manufactured homes because it is much easier to put up. It can be transferred too! So I will be in the look out for mobile home for sale signs when that time comes.
