Aerial view of Mt. Apo

By Kerslyn On March 21st, 2012

I have lots of aerial photos from all our travels. I am one shutter happy when inside the plane because I don’t usually sleep and I take the window seat most of the time. Here’s one taken during our flight back to Davao from Zamboanga City almost two years ago. The peak you are seeing in the center is the Mt. Apo and the cone-shaped little one far in the background is Mt. Matutum. Climbing the country’s highest peak is in my bucket list. I just don’t know when I would be able to accomplish that. There’s no snow in this part of the earth but I know it’s super cold up there and snowboard jackets at PeterGlenn.com would be one great gear to keep me warm for sure.

What I love in this photo are the white clouds covering part of the mountain ranges. It looks beautiful against the green and blue shade of the mountains and the sky.

Capturing the sunset

By Kerslyn On February 8th, 2012

One of the photos I “forgot” to post here in my blog. This was taken November of 2010 when Ace and his colleagues in their department had a beach outing with their respective families in Bluewaters Beach Resort in Samal Island.

Hubby took a photo of my hand and the the LCD while I am trying to capture the sunset in Bluewaters Resort in Samal Island.

Ace took the photo of my hand and my Lumix LX5 focusing on sunset streak in front of us. It was not a glorious sunset but at least it’s fiery enough.
