Please bring home your trash!

Unique signage at Hayahay Beach Resort in Samal Island

One of the nice, uniquely made signage in Hayahay Beach Resort in Samal Island that is tucked in the tree branch with shoulder bolts. The resort owners would love that each of the resort visitor to be responsible with their trash hence we brought our own trash bag when we visited the resort and brought it back to the city. It’s a classic way of “leave nothing but memories”. There are other nice things about the resort and the best is its tranquil environment because walk-in visitors are not allowed and the resort owners blocks the date for one group of guests per day only. Feels like we own the resort for a day for more than a couple thousand pesos! What a great way to start our summer!

Capturing the sunset

By Kerslyn On February 8th, 2012

One of the photos I “forgot” to post here in my blog. This was taken November of 2010 when Ace and his colleagues in their department had a beach outing with their respective families in Bluewaters Beach Resort in Samal Island.

Hubby took a photo of my hand and the the LCD while I am trying to capture the sunset in Bluewaters Resort in Samal Island.

Ace took the photo of my hand and my Lumix LX5 focusing on sunset streak in front of us. It was not a glorious sunset but at least it’s fiery enough.

Project 365: 2 of 365

We weren’t able to spend New Year’s eve at the beach as planned so we left for the beach on New Year’s day with Carol, Donald with the kids and Anne. PILs chose to stay at home while Ian has to go back to his work. It was a long travel because we are lost but we were able to reach Canibad Beach in Samal Island before the sun set. We are too tired to try the water and bring out our camera that day. The next morning, our energy level was reset and we were game for swimming and taking snaps.

The place is heaven! Just a perfect place to relax and unwind from the city life. The fresh air is also perfect for the lungs of people suffering from Mesothelioma and other illnesses. But with or without illness, we are going back to the place soon.
